Semi conductive insulation sleeves are double-layer heat-shrinkable insulation sleeves primarily used for intermediate connections in medium-voltage power cables. They have a double-layer heat-shrinkable configuration, a semi-conductive outer layer and an insulating inner layer. The inner insulating material offers high-quality electrical insulation, while the outer semi-conductive material forms a shield for uniformly electric fields, and in doing so the insulation is protected and electrical stresses are controlled. This product is intended for medium-voltage cable intermediate joints of 42kV and below, and it ensures that cable connections are reliably insulated sealed and given electrical shielding protection.
