1. Silicone rubber cold shrink tubing, tested according to ASTM D412, exhibits tensile strength ≥7.0 MPa, elongation at break ≥650%, and tear strength ≥25 kN/m.
2. The cold shrinkable tube is ozone resistant for 70 hours, UV resistant for 1000 hours, and has Class 1 mildew resistance. Its surface is less prone to dust accumulation, reducing the frequency of outdoor inspections.
3. The communication silicone tube has a flame retardant rating of UL94-HB, meeting the basic fire safety requirements for communication equipment and outdoor locations.
UV radiation, extreme temperature changes, and condensation can all pose serious problems for cable entry points and connections in communication base stations, outdoor cabinets and underground utility tunnels. Conventional sealing tape or heat shrink tubing may become brittle and crack at as low as -40°C, and soften and deform at as high as 60°C temperature which could result in a loss of the seal integrity. Once the seals are compromised, moisture has the avenue to penetrate cable sheath and equipment via the cables and cause signal power loss and insulation issues.
Our silicone rubber cold shrink tubing has been pre-expanded at our factory to solve these problems. Just tear the inner supporting strip on site, shrink back to room temperature, and you'll never have to do an actual heating process again! A sealing putty is applied to the inner walls from both sides when the cable is sheathed, this makes the putty adhere really closely after the tubing is shrunk resulting in a water tight seal. Material remains elastomeric at an ambient temperature range from -60°C to 200°C, and passes the ozone resistance test for 70 hours, UV resistance for 1000 hours and Class 1 mold proof resistance tests as well with the expected lifetime of ≥20 years.

Product Advantages:
1. Our cold shrinkable tubes are shipped already expanded and have a built-in supportcore. During installation, you just have to get the support strip out. Retraction at roomtemperature only takes place after that, and sealant fills up the gap betweentube and sheath. The sealant layer is fixed and completely coated. Therefore, thedependency on operational techniques on-site is eliminated and theprobability of seal failure being due to human factors is reduced.
2. The communication silicone tubes are designed with a Shore A hardness of 35-45 so as to allow a relatively smooth retraction of one end while still holding on tightly to the other. This hardness range ensures that the operator at the site can perform the core removal with one hand, and even at such minimal levels that the interfacial pressure after retraction is still adequate to prevent capillary water from creeping into the cable sheath.
3. Silicone rubber tubes made by us that are subjected only to cold shrink, have the benefit of low weight. These kinds of materials can be easily used at locations where the additional load is small. Therefore, the cold shrink silicone rubber tubes will not exert an additional burden on poles and high altitude antenna supports.
4. The viscosity-elastic property of the sealant in the silicone cold shrink tubes continues after handling during storage and transportation, thus preventing the formation of cracks, and drips. No physical interface allows the separation between the sealant and the tube wall. When the tube shrinks during retraction, the sealant moves in line with the tube body, thereby avoiding any sealant build-up at the end of tubes or an improper distribution of sealant.
5. Our cold shrink silicone rubber tube material remains flexible and does not become brittle nor crack at low temperatures; similarly, it doesn't soften and deform at high temperatures. The tubular structure remains stable and there is no change in dimension or shape even after temperature variations. This is due to the fact that such materials are dimensionally stable and do not get affected by ambient temperature fluctuations.

Product Application Scenarios:
Silicone rubber cold shrink tubing can not only provide a waterproof seal against water ingress to communication base station cabinet inlets but also be used for insulation of outdoor antenna and feeder connections, sealing of underground joint between cable ducts, shielding of cable lead-out points along roadside sensors installed as smart cities, sealing of power and signal line inlets of 5G small base stations, and even the protection of interconnecting cable intermediate joints from one unit of microwave equipment to another, outdoor to indoor.

About CCMT:
We are manufacturing company founded in 1986, focusing our energies on research, development, manufacturing, and cable accessories and insulation protection products. We have been in the business for more than 40 years and our factory occupies an area of 10,000 meters and we employ more than 100 workers and have a total of over 40 specialized production equipment.
Our product variety includes overhead line sheathing, heat shrink tubing, cable end caps and waterproof sealing tape which together fulfill requirements arising in different situations such as power distribution, communication base stations, oil and gas facilities, and new energy areas.

Certification Standards:
We operate under the ISO 9001:2015 (No. 00123Q36311R5M/2200) quality management system, implementing full-process control over cold shrink tubing products from mixing and extrusion to expansion packaging. Our products have undergone type testing for cable cold shrink terminals and intermediate joints by an independent third-party laboratory and have obtained CE certification, meeting RoHS and REACH environmental requirements.

Delivery Guarantee:
We arrange production according to orders coming in. The delivery time for standard products is based on current stock levels. For customized products, we are meeting the delivery milestones agreed upon in the contract and have the date of delivery confirmed in writing from the customer at the time of order.
Equipment Configuration and Capacity Correspondence: Cold shrink tubing is produced by 3 silicone extruders, with a monthly capacity of 100,000 meters; cold shrink terminals and connectors are each produced by 5 molding machines and 3 injection molding machines, with a monthly capacity of 20,000 pieces each. FAQ:
1. Can I return or exchange a product if the size doesn't match during installation?
The first step is to select according to the measuring value of the cable connector external diameter and the specifications of the product before you buy. If an error is made in the model choice, our sales team can help you out if you contact them within seven days after the product has been received, along with the measured data and the product number. The products in the unopened state which are of no effect to resale can be returned/exchanged. Special requirements shall be arranged under the contract. The best approach would be to have the size verified by samples at the selection stage.
2. What precautions should be taken for storing silicone cold shrink tubes if they are not used immediately after arrival?
Cold shrink tubes should be stored in a dry, dark, and non-corrosive indoor environment. The stacking height must conform to the packaging markings to avoid deformation of the support core due to heavy pressure. The storage temperature should be controlled between -5℃ and 35℃, and kept away from heat sources and chemical solvents.
3. Can the tube be reused if it needs to be disassembled on-site after installation?
Cold shrink tubes are single-use products and cannot be reused after shrinking. If the installation location is incorrect or the cable needs to be replaced on-site, a new tube should be used for reinstallation. It is recommended to perform a trial installation according to the sample before mass production to confirm that the size and position are correct.
