The​‍​‌‍​‍‌ customer is now allowed to choose an insulated bushing cover mainly on the basis of the real equipment dimension for example the main body outer diameter, umbrella skirt diameter, protective length, and terminal structure instead of only referring to the voltage class or the ​‍​‌‍​‍‌model.

The polyolefin bushing guard is more suitable for projects with multiple specifications, non-standard size and focus on mechanical protection capabilities, while the transformer bushing cap is more suitable for projects with uniform specifications, long-term outdoor operation, and high requirements for flexibility and weather resistance.
