High-Voltage Testing Equipment
In the field of electrical safety verification for high-voltage products, dielectric strength and insulation integrity serve as key benchmarks for equipment reliability. To this end, we have established a dedicated high-voltage testing laboratory that meets rigorous standards, equipped with a dual-function testing system centered on power-frequency withstand voltage and impulse voltage testing.
The core of the system is a cylindrical high-voltage test transformer featuring a compact design and uniform electric field distribution, capable of delivering stable, high-precision test voltages. Integrated around this main transformer are critical components—such as a capacitive high-voltage divider, high-strength insulating supports, and a protective discharge sphere gap—forming a comprehensive testing configuration. Notably, the protective discharge sphere gap allows for precise breakdown voltage settings, effectively shielding the test object from accidental overvoltage surges and ensuring both safety and repeatability throughout the testing process.
Serving as a vital quality assurance tool, the system offers comprehensive testing capabilities for cable accessories across the full voltage range of 1kV to 220kV. By simulating the switching and lightning overvoltages (lightning impulse tests) that power equipment encounters during actual operation, the system rigorously evaluates partial discharge characteristics, withstand voltage margins, and insulation aging. This ensures that every product leaving the factory meets or exceeds the grid's stringent requirements for the long-term safe operation of electrical equipment.
Technical Scope:
· Power-frequency withstand voltage testing: Applicable to 1kV–220kV cable accessories and primary power equipment.
· Partial discharge/impulse testing: Precisely covers 1kV–110kV cable accessories; effectively validates insulation structure design; prevents premature breakdown failures caused by insulation defects; and comprehensively safeguards the quality standards of power transmission and transformation equipment.
Spanning the entire product lifecycle—from raw material selection to the release of finished goods—this system establishes a comprehensive chain of insulation quality monitoring, providing trustworthy certification for every high-voltage product backed by precise, reliable, and reproducible test data. Moving forward, we will continue to deepen our expertise in high-voltage testing technology, employing even stricter standards and more robust methodologies to provide solid technical support for the safe and stable operation of power systems.
