In scenarios of assembling cable joints, wire harness connectors, and fixing electrical systems, regular PVC insulating tapes often run into problems like losing stickiness, the tape backing layers coming away from the surface, and finally, the seals failing, which is quite time-consuming since after that moisture together with灰尘, or any other foreign matter will be able to pass on into the connectors resulting in elevated Leakage Currents, frequent short circuits, and requirement for constant maintenance which altogether make it very hard for long-term insulation protection, in fact, this happens more with parts that are to be used at high temperatures, under the open sky, or industrial environments.
