Project Background

Located on the shores of Daya Bay in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, the Ling'ao Nuclear Power Station was invested in, constructed, and is operated by China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN). Developed in two phases, the station has a total installed capacity of 4,000 MW. The second phase utilizes the domestically developed ACPR1000 technology, serving as a key demonstration project for the localization and independent development of nuclear power in my country; for years, it has played a vital role in ensuring the power supply for the South China region.


Our Company's Involvement

Leveraging the engineering track record and reputation for quality established through projects such as the Fangjiashan Nuclear Power Plant, our company secured further nuclear power supply contracts between 2017 and 2018. We supplied a range of nuclear-grade heat-shrinkable cable terminations and joints to the Ling'ao Nuclear Power Station in Guangdong. These products met the cable system requirements for the plant's operational maintenance and technical upgrade phases, successfully passing rigorous reviews under the nuclear quality assurance system prior to deployment.
