In humid or outdoor environments, cable joints, terminal boxes, and other irregularly shaped parts are frequently difficult to adequately seal with tape sealants. As a result, air or moisture can move into the joints, slowly working their way between the gaps and decreasing the insulation resistance level. This problem is further accentuated when the temperature is changing or when equipment is being vibrated, because these conditions can cause the adhesive to separate.
We use a double-layer composite structure for our water seal mastic tape-a rubber-based self-fusion layer and a tear-resistant PVC backing. After applying it, the layers will automatically fuse together, sealing the surface irregularities and making a seamless waterproof film of excellent adhesion and water resistance. The tape has such characteristics as a maximum volume resistivity of up to 1.0 × 10¹⁴ Ω·cm, dielectric strength of 15 kV/mm, and an operating temperature range from -55℃ to 105℃, which allow it to remain in good shape and effectively resist moisture and corrosion for long time, thereby guaranteeing the safety of joint insulation.

Product Advantages:
1. Once the tape has undergone a self-fusion wrapping the waterproof mastic will become completely sealed together at a molecular level. This fusion prevents not only the formation of air bubbles that are left during a wrapping process but also capillary type leakage channels between the layers. Therefore, such a seal can be trusted as it will be unaffected even by the force of an external tightening.
2. Advanced cable sealing tape not only protects against ozone, UV radiation, and is resistant to salt spray corrosions. It will not break powder nor crack when it comes to being exposed in an outdoor environment or an industrial contaminated area. The protection offered by it lasts the very same lifetime period as the cable so that you need to inspect the cable life-cycle only once.
3. Our coax seal tape has fire-retardant properties and stops igniting further fires caused by electric arcs or over heating. It does not drip when the surface is very hot. That prevents flames from spreading outwards from the cable bundle. Besides that it allows more safety margins for fire safety in installations with a lot of cables laid closely to each other.
4. Vinyl mastic tapes are cold applied without any special tools - just wrap by hand! Ideal for hard to reach places like the tops of very high buildings, inside pipe racks and in very small junction boxes. Single joint construction time is much reduced thereby limiting the chances of power outage works.
