Cable splices and ends are always surrounded by outdoor moisture, industrial oil, and temperature variations. The common seal materials have tendency loss flexibility due to the shrinkage of curing or material aging which results in micro-cracks at an interface. 1. How long after applying the sealant can the power be turned on?
Our product is a self-fluxing and solvent-free chemical. After you apply it, there is no need to wait. Electric power can be immediately restored after wrapping or filling, which reduces the application time greatly.
2. Will the sealant shrink or crack after long-term use?
The product keeps its elasticity between the temperature limits of -40℃ to 90℃, besides not exhibiting signs of hardening or cracking after exposure to extreme conditions for a very long time. Its formulation free of solvents prevents the common issue associated with the reduction of volume in regular sealants due to the evaporation of solvents.
