1. Cold-shrink terminations are ideal for power systems rated from 1 kV to 36 kV and provide the necessary insulation and sealing for cables at low, medium, and high voltage. 2. As the cold-shrink product is constructed from pre-expanded silicone rubber, it enables very quick and easy installation without the use of open flame heating or special heat-shrink equipment. 3. Cold-shrink terminations of this type have been subjected to extensive performance testing which includes AC voltage withstanding, partial discharge, impulse voltage, thermal cycle and it is only upon the successful completion of these tests that the terminations are able to guarantee safe and long-lasting operation.
